Assist Director of Sales to produce the Annual Revenue Plan in conjunction with BODs, Sales and Marketing budgets and forecasts
Produce, implement and monitor action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objectives are achieved
Analyze current and potential markets/trends, coordinate all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rate.
Procure new and repeat business for the hotel monitoring contact with Corporate segments within local, domestic and international markets. Maintain contact with planners, corporate accounts, incentive buyers through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications.
Ensure the hotel is represented as an active member of the local community through association membership
Create and implement special programs to achieve greater productivity through: Increasing average rate,Increasing overall occupancy,Increasing business volume during difficult periods,Increasing Food & Beverage and Banquet Sales,Enhancing the image of the hotel in the local community.
Plan and execute sales trip to major market areas
Attend major networking events to promote sales for the hotel.
Direct all sales activities for Sales Executives/Sales Managers to ensure they meet the goals of the Revenue.
Ensure training needs analysis of sales staff is carried out and training programs are designed and implemented to meet needs
Conduct monthly reviews of sales personnel activity to ensure targets and sales objectives are being met
Meet with guests from major producers/organizers of big events staying in the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction
Recommend to the Director of Sales and coordinates all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume. This includes advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, etc
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Good communication and customer contact skills
- Ability to work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
- A motivator & self-starter
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
- Diploma / Degree in Tourism / Hospitality Management
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language

- Direct training, guidance and practice on language, soft skills and job knowledge from professional departments; Skilled and experienced foreign management team to learn and share;
